Captivating music experiences can be rare, but Wunderhorse are the exception. Their music is a clever configuration of heartfelt lyrics and musical expression. The track that truly resonates with me is “Teal.” This song truly shows the talent of the band Wunderhorse.
From Jacob Slaters aggressive growls to Jaime Staples drums, they have simply got it all.

I have never seen a live performance as memorising as Wunderhorses. I was in utter shock; I did not expect such a fantastic show from a support act. Although I listened and knew them very well before Sam Fenders show I had never seen them live so I did not know what to expect.
Some of my favourite tracks are "Teal", "Purple", "Cathedrals", "Arizona", "Rain", and "Leader of the pack."
The rock band from Newquay have toured internationally since they formed in 2020. They started their career by releasing “Teal” and “One for the pigeons” in 2021 kickstarting their success. This was then followed by a plethora of singles most of which ended up being on their first album "Cub".
"Cub" is perfectly curated. Some of my favourite songs of all time have come from this very album such as "Teal", "Purple" and "Girl behind the glass". The album makes us understand their growing popularity, the clear musical inspiration from British and American songwriters including the great Radiohead, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and Joni Mitchell combined with the essence of 90’s grunge and punk energy.
Two years later came the release of "Midas" it had a very similar vibe to "Cub" but definitely another level up. “Rain” “Silver” and “July” are the bangers of this album. Truely showing what Wunderhorse are all about.
All wunderhorses creations are one of a kind but may remind you of other songs by different artist due to their clear inspiration carried throughout. They are an amazing band and definitely one to check out if you already have not.
